Where is Malía?
On Plaza Doctor Arce, in Estepona's old town, two minutes from the beach and Plaza de las Flores.
Is there a terrace?
Yes. The terrace faces the square, by the fountain and the orange trees. The same one as always.
Do you take reservations?
No. First come, first served, from morning to night.
Do you serve pizza at lunchtime?
No. The oven comes on at 19:00. At midday there's the cucina del sud, 13:00–15:00.
Is the gelato artisan?
Yes. Made in-house, every day, since 1999.
Can I get gelato to take away?
Yes: in a cup, in a cone, and for home in ½ litre or 1 litre tubs.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Not yet. We do have some lactose-free and some sugar-free gelati: ask at the counter which ones we have today.
Can I bring my dog?
On the terrace, yes — and very welcome. For indoors, just ask us when you arrive.
Is this the same place as La Italiana?
Yes. Malía is the evolution of La Italiana, opened in 1999 on this very square. Same place, same soul, new name.
